My name is Andrew Hart and apparently I do bear a passing resemblance to the caricature of me below which was drawn in 2004. This is not a commecial website but if you land here by accident and find some some of the content interesting and helpful then that is fine by me ! The idea was to use it as a convenient medium to record for reference information on some of the subjects that have interested me over the years.
Why the domain name 15551.co.uk you may well ask ! It is simply my date of birth - 15th May 1951 which is a kind of palandrome. So now you know, you can send me a birthday card !!
Wine, women & song (& fast cars !)
I can't remember who said it originally (was it George Best ?) but I have always liked the quote that goes something like "I spent most of my money on booze, women and fast cars and the rest I just squandered !" We all have a certain amount of money that goes through our hands during our lifetime and I have found it interesting to observe that what might be a waste of money to one person is perceived as money well spent by another.
To wax philosophical for a moment, whatever we spend our money on and whatever we do in our lives, it is only important that we are able to look back without regret. It has often been said that we regret most the things that we didn't do rather than the things that we did do.
So, don't live in the past and don't worry about the future - just enjoy today !!
